Come join us this Harvest Moon  to tap into the energies guiding us from above and create your own unique sage bundle. In this dreamy workshop we will start off by creating our own sage bundle (also commonly known as smudge sticks).  These little bundles of herbs wrapped in twine, emit an earthy, aromatic scent and help purify the space you live in.

Horticultural therapist Rebecca will go in depth about the properties of each botanical element that we will be adding into our bundles. Some of the botanical elements you can  include can be; sage, lavender, rosemary, thyme, mint, Palo Santo, cedar, juniper.

As a ritual, smudging can help aid relaxation, relieve stress, dispel negative emotions and can enhance spirituality or meditation. Once we are finished assembling our sage bundles, we will then be guided by Rebecca in a restorative Full Moon meditation. Full moons represent the culmination of energy; completion and celebration, as well as releasing and shedding the old to pave way for the new. Ceremoniously clearing and releasing anything that doesn’t serve our highest good with the smoke of sacred sage.

Let me introduce to you my very dear friend Pamela from Pammy Papaya Yoga & Wellness. She not only brings the zen into the workshop but her caring, kind energy soaks through into your soul. Pamela and I teamed up during the beginning of covid not knowing what to expect... and now over a year later we are still offering workshops for plant + yogi lovers alike.

Our goal is to help you cultivate a deeper relationship with yourself and the world around you. We use plant therapy principles along with movement & breathwork to guide you along this beautiful journey.

As Pammy starts a new chapter, we only wish her only the best in everything she does. She one of a kind, in the best way. Just a beautiful human inside and out. She is rare and we feel very grateful to have connected through such a strange time. Not only did we complete a yoga teacher training course and run virtual workshops like absolute queens.  We connected on a soul level. One which I cannot put into words. Stay tuned for online pop-ups with Pamela and myself.

Check out her out if you have not already connected with Pamela.

She is teaching online at the welcome om collective.

In this dreamy workshop we will start off by creating our own unique sage bundles (also commonly known as smudge sticks).  These little bundles of herbs wrapped in twine, emit an earthy, aromatic scent and help purify the space you live in. Our bundles will be made with locally sourced herbs and sustainability foraged winter greenery. Horticultural therapist Rebecca will go in depth about the properties of each botanical element that we will be adding into our bundles. Some of the botanical elements you'll use and learn about include seasonal winter elements of Sage, Rosemary, baby's breath, dried oranges, cedar and dusty miller. . All materials will be provided to make one medium sage bundle.

Included in this workshop, you will receive a unique crystal that you can either tie into your bundle or set in your space for when you're smudging. ‘Smudging’ is a powerful energy clearing ritual used by Native and ancient traditions during ceremonies. Whether you smudge to honour those traditions or simply to establish your own ritual, there are countless reasons to add smudging into your routine. As a ritual, smudging can help aid relaxation, relieve stress, dispel negative emotions and can enhance spirituality or meditation.Once we are finished assembling our sage bundles, we will then be guided by Pamela with a restorative full moon meditation and smudging ceremony. Full moons represent the culmination of energy: completion and celebration, as well as releasing and shedding the old to pave way for the new. Ceremoniously clearing and releasing anything that doesn’t serve our highest good with the smoke of sacred sage.

Calling all earthlings, this April 21st 2021 we are offering a workshop that turns old junk into delightful planters.

BYOV (bring your own vessel)

We encourage you to pick out a pre-used item that would normally get tossed away- perhaps , an old toy truck, grandmas tea pot, your dads work boot etc to be transformed into a planter. This one of a kind workshop will repurpose the junk that would most likely end up in the dump and with  environmental considerations at an all time high, this workshop suits anyone wanting to minimize their impact.

After planting we will be tuning into our inner palace of stillness and peace with gentle movement and meditation with Pamela from @pammypapayayoga. This will be the perfect way to wrap up our workshop and give thanks to the planet that sustains us.

We cannot wait for you to join us and celebrate this beautiful planet together.

Kit includes;

➖Potting Soil

➖4 Echeveria Succulents

➖Moss

➖River Rocks
